The Levantine Corridor Network (TLCN) is a network of individuals whose career and entrepreneurial journeys have converged in Singapore.

Comprised of a diverse milieu of leaders of colour, these individuals have made a significant impact in their industry or an important contribution to their community. They are breaking down barriers across various segments of society and are culture carriers.

Stints in the tiny red dot of Singapore are often transient, but the contributions and impact made here are long-lasting. To paraphrase the poignant closing line of ‘Ayer Hitam: A Black History of Singapore’, the beautifully produced docu-play co-produced by British-Jamaican actress Sharon Frese, ‘…will anyone remember that we gathered here…?’. TLCN with your collaboration aims to record this modern history as it is being made.

The mission of TLCN is to foster connection, collaboration and empowerment. The inspiration comes from the Levantine Corridor, a narrow strip of land along the Mediterranean Sea. This historically significant route connects the continents of Africa and Asia and is one of the earliest human migration routes by which Africans first arrived on the continent of Asia. In keeping with the themes of global migration, progress and success, TLCN draws its inspiration from the early ancestors who forged their route along this corridor, and whose stories were not always captured or told. Our generation after all, stands tall because of those who have gone before.

What a joy to be able to introduce and share these inspiring stories – from the arts to the corporate world, from the Americas to Zimbabwe, all tinged with colour from the Far East and beyond. Be inspired!
