About

Omonike is a partner at Walkers’ law firm in the British Virgin Islands. She has worked and lived in the BVI, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Cayman Islands. Her ambition and enthusiasm for growth are driven by a plethora of life events that have been thrown at her. She was born in Trinidad and Tobago but is a product of a Trinidadian mother and a Virgin Islander father. The BVI is now her home.

Education

Omonike attended Bishop Anstey High School in Trinidad & Tobago. She completed her law degree in Barbados at the University of the West Indies and was awarded her legal education certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad & Tobago.

Highlights

Omonike overcame breast cancer at the tender age of 26 and continues to live a meaningful and fulfilling life having been elected to the partnership at Walkers in 2020.

Fun Fact

Omonike got suited up to sky dive and the only thing that stopped her was bad weather. It is still on her bucket list!
