About
Stephen was born in New York to Haitian immigrants. He lived in Haiti as an infant, grew up in Chicago, and studied in France and Japan. Stephen has worked on projects in Kenya, Switzerland, France, Germany and England and has called Singapore home since 2010. He started his career in management consulting and switched to marketing in 2011. He is now responsible for the commercial aspects of a media company (sales, marketing, product development etc).
Education
Stephen obtained a BSc in Economics from the University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign and also holds a master’s degree in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and digital management from Hyper Island.
Highlights
Stephen worked at ShoreBank for 7 years, a pioneer in community lending in the US. He was previously head of marketing for Paneco.com, a Singapore start-up selling alcohol online and now the #1 online alcohol brand in Singapore. Stephen is also co-founder of the Harvard University Alumni Association of Singapore
Fun Fact
Stephen is semi-obsessed with beer and flags. Not necessarily together, but he enjoys reading about flags and their history. He is a big fan of beer of all types.
